Wow – I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes my life gets so nutty.  Things all just pile up at the same time, and usually it’s all good stuff!  Sometimes it’s not all good, and then things are really hard, but that’s another story.  Right now, I was just looking at the calendar, and holy moly, March gets crazy!  I’m pumped – this is all amazing stuff – but whoa.  Let’s see…I have work on display in Hood River at the Columbia Center for the Arts (have you been there? I love that place), and locally, I’m showing paintings in a solo show at the Oxford Hotel for March and April.  This exhibit was curated by the amazing Billye Turner, who is a local art consultant.  (She is wonderful and energetic and vibrant!) Here’s a sneak peek of what I’ve been working on~

Then- OMG – is the Muse Conference which is held here in Bend, Oregon.  It’s a really wonderful group of people doing amazing things for women and teenage girls.  So much support and love comes out of that group!  I was lucky enough to collaborate on a sculpture that will be exhibited at the conference.   I’ve been working with a filmmaker, Ghost Village Films, and another artist, Leah Rutz to make a mixed media sculpture.  Think female, birds, feathers, clay, wire, paper and feathers.  So friggin cool. I can’t wait to see it all together!
